The mountain view was a bonus. I used free parking onsite. It is so close to the airport. Comfortable base for city trip in Tulbagh...

I was offered a room with lovely views of the mountains. Location: the hotel was next to olive tasting, restaurants, a historic landmark and the mountain. Plus there was a lake, within 50 minutes walk or so...
My first room was quite small.

generally good but some improvements needed
The spacious room offered a lovely fireplace with warmth . The coffee machine was a good touch, made mornings enjoyable. Dining at the on-site restaurant was a great experience with personalized service and an appealing menu that really stood out.
The garden view was nice but could use better upkeep.

I almost wanted to give a good review, but the pool was filthy and had leaves everywhere! The room service woudl ve been great too, if only housekeeping had serviced our room after five requests. I mean, cant a guest expect at least a fresh cup of coffee? Just utterly disappointing, really.

Housekeeping hours felt overlooked, a consistent clean is expected!!! Pool maintenance should be prioritized, leaves floating ruin the appeal of relaxation!!!
